The Swann Insurance 24hr 2012 is on the 14-15th July.
This yearly event, puts riders to the test, in what is Australia’s Ultimate Reliability Trial.
It will be held on the 14th & 15th July starting at Kapunda – South Australia.
Its the third year that Swann Insurance have supported the 24hr, and we are thrilled to have them support us as our Naming Right’s Sponsor.

The event starts with the first rider leaving from the Kapunda Trotting Track at 11:00am on the 14th of July and if all went well the first riders will return again at 11:00am on the 15th of July. We expect nearly 200 riders will enter so this will be a very busy year.
The course is quite hard on both bike and rider, and there is usually an attrition rate of at least 50%. In the last couple years the Interstate & Overseas riders have found out what a great event we were hiding (one of our Hidden Treasures) and the competition has really opened up. All being well Chris Power will be back from New Zealand to defend his crown as the Open Solo Winner and he will be looking for a ‘Hat Trick’.
The event could not be run without massive support from many clubs, organisations and indviduals. We have dedicated a special Acknowledgements Page to thank them all.
As well as the rugged men & women who ride the event, this has been and always will be as much a fun weekend for the spectators, as they watch their favourites from some of the best, most beautiful scenery in South Australia. We do ask spectators and all who attend to respect the land owners property, and to take your rubbish away with you please, to not camp on private property without permission and also to drive or ride carefully.
